What are Procurement  and Disparity Studies?

Procurement and disparity studies analyze the contracting practices of governments and corporations.  Defining equality as the absence of disparity between the levels of contracting and availability, these studies determine whether minority and woman-owned businesses have equal opportunity to participate in contracts.  These studies contain pertinent statistical, legal, historical, and economic information, as well as interviews with business owners.
