Equity & Diversity Associate
 

  • Conduct research on issues related to diversity and inclusion in government contracting, procurement, and hiring practices

  • Conduct literature searches and other independent research

  • Assist with coordinating project activity coordination and communication with internal and external audiences

  • Assist with meeting planning for community outreach events including scheduling, coordinating dates, drafting emails, and social media

  • Assist with preparing project reports, memos, presentations, and proposals

  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree is required

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to initiate and conduct work independently and efficiently on concurrent projects

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

  • Entry level experience in one or more of the following technical competencies:

  • Statistics

  • Policy writing

  • Research methods

  • Project management

  • High proficiency in online research, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Mailchimp, and Salesforce applications

  • Strong writing skills required
